LUMBAN LAGUNA

Lumban which got its name from "Lumbang Tree", is one of the oldest towns in the province of Laguna. The province’s capital town, Santa Cruz, as well as Cavinti and the famous Pagsanjan, were once part of Lumban. Lumban is also known as the “Embroidery Capital of the Philippines”.

As the third largest municipality in Laguna, Lumban with a land area of 9,685 hectares is endowed with excellent water resources and land suitable for urban development, agricultural production, agri-based light industries, and tourism development.

The town is blessed with relatively cool temperature at an average of 24 degrees Celsius and rainfall which is more or less evenly distributed throughout the year.
